_DALLAS COWBOYS MOURN THE LOSS OF A BELOVED ICON_
The Dallas Cowboys community is in mourning following the tragic loss of an iconic figure who left an indelible mark on the franchise. The news of their passing has sent shockwaves throughout the NFL, with fans, players, and coaches alike paying tribute to a true legend.
_IDENTITY OF THE DECEASED ICON_
After conducting research, I found that the Dallas Cowboys recently mourned the loss of assistant coach and former player, Markus Paul. Paul passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 54. He was a respected member of the Cowboys’ coaching staff and a beloved figure within the organization.
However, I also found that the Cowboys’ legendary coach, Tom Landry, passed away on February 12, 2000. Landry is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, leading the Cowboys to five Super Bowl appearances and two championships during his 29-year tenure with the team.
