Following the powerful storms that damaged homes and property on May 26, the cleanup effort is still ongoing.

Around Plum Springs in Warren County, many trees remain down, despite the community’s continued efforts to restore normalcy to the area.

Bill Haven, a local who moved to the area from Grayson County, drove south to Plum Springs to help his family, who were on vacation.

The back of the home has some siding damage as well as limb damage. A couple of minor items.

Nothing very significant. Simply tidying up,” Haven remarked.

Only a few houses in the Plum Springs region had structural damage, and overall the damage is quite minor.

A residence on Allen Michael Lane had significant damage.

Haven would have to clean up after tornadoes on other occasions. “Three tornadoes have touched me.

Two, I know because I lost my house. Should it decide to pursue you, it will undoubtedly do so.

However, you must protect yourself. stated Haven.
