Could Red Bull’s final lineup include their two multiple World Champions? Helmut Marko says that this is not going to happen.

When it comes to selecting their 2025 lineup, Red Bull must make crucial choices in the driver market once more. Although there seems to be less concern over Max Verstappen leaving, his future teammate is still up in the air as Sergio Perez fights for a contract extension.

Sebastian Vettel is silenced by Helmut Marko during a Red Bull talk.
Carlos Sainz, the winner of the 2024 Australian Grand Prix and a former Red Bull program driver, is one of the strong contenders for Perez’s second Red Bull seat, and Yuki Tsunoda is also making an impression at junior team RB thus far this season.

Red Bull’s four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, though, is no longer in the running, as Marko put an end to rumors that Verstappen and Vettel, two of the program’s top graduates, may be part of the team in 2025.

Marko said, “Vettel should come to us?,” after he was informed by oe24 of the rumors of Vettel’s Red Bull return. That is not a feasible choice.
