Nine of the fifteen spring practices that the University of Georgia has been given are now in progress. It raises the question, then: Who has seen the largest increases in stock this spring? The Georgia Bulldogs’ 2024 roster will be fully unveiled in front of a national television audience on April 13 at G-Day in less than two weeks. They’ve finished nine of the fifteen workouts scheduled for the spring, and this Saturday afternoon saw the conclusion of the first intersquad scrimmage. Who, then, has seen the largest increases in stock this spring?
Roderick Robinson, Robert B. Robinson had the potential to have a huge spring, as seen by the depth chart in the running back room before spring practice started. As Trevor Etienne joined the team recently and Branson Robinson was still recovering from knee surgery in the autumn, Robinson was given more space to shine at spring camp. The running back room will look very different in September than it did on Saturday afternoon during the first spring scrimmage inside Sanford Stadium. Nate Frazier will be in the room, and at some point, Branson Robinson should be healthy. Nevertheless, Robinson has made a strong effort this spring to demonstrate his merit for a starting position.
After having to replace three-year starter Sedrick Van Pran, Wilson was going to have to step up at some point this offseason to become the greatest version of himself at the centre position for Georgia. Wilson has reportedly done just that, with head coach Kirby Smart praising Wilson’s skills in front of the media. When questioned about the junior centre, Smart remarked of Wilson, “I can’t wait for the world to see Jared Wilson.” Being a tremendous athlete, he will need to keep building relationships with the other members of an offensive line group that is incredibly skilled.
