The Boston Celtics, led by Joe Mazzulla, are well-positioned to go deep into the playoffs and win their first NBA championship since 2008.

The Celtics have advanced to four conference finals and one NBA Finals appearance under the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown era. With an intense desire that permeates the whole roster and coaching staff, Boston continues to strive to overcome setbacks.

Cedric Maxwell, a Celtics radio analyst and the MVP of the 1981 NBA Finals, recently related a chat he had with Mazzulla at TD Garden while admiring the championship banners of Boston’s history. Maxwell heard the Celtics coach talk about his desire to win.

Prior to the ligament injury last season, the first overall pick in the 2020 draft participated in ten games. He threw for 15 touchdowns and six interceptions on 66.8% of his passes completed.

Both of Burrow’s seasons were marred by injuries. On the second day of training camp, he had hurt his right calf, an ailment that didn’t entirely heal until mid-season. Burrow was healthy for five games prior to sustaining a wrist injury from a hit.

“I would do anything, anything to bring another banner,” Maxwell stated in an interview with the podcast “First to the Floor.” “Man, there were actual tears in his eyes. “Big fella, you’re going to get there,” I remarked.
