We’re a few weeks into free agency, and the Las Vegas Raiders have recruited a new running back in Alexander Mattison from the Minnesota Vikings. Furthermore, the NFL Draft is less than a month away, and Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce has been sighted at multiple pro days recently.

So, I’m sure you all have a lot of questions, and there’s much to discuss in this week’s mailbag. Anything Raiders-related is fair game, and feel free to ask your offseason questions, especially now that the NFL Draft is right around the horizon and pro days have begun.

The Las Vegas Raiders made a major move to fill a roster vacancy by signing impact defensive tackle Christian Wilkins during the start of free agency.

To minimise more voids, the organisation re-signed Andre James as the offensive line’s pivot, as well as defensive tackles John Jenkins and Adam Butler, to ensure that quality veterans can still produce in the trenches. Las Vegas also signed quarterback Gardner Minshew to bring experience and competition to the crucial position. And added free agents Alexander Mattison and Harrison Bryant to fill in as role players at running back and tight end, respectively.

Despite this, the Silver and Black have roster gaps, and as free agency winds down and the 2024 NFL Draft approaches at the end of April, general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce will have plenty of opportunities to add to the team.

The offensive line, cornerback, wide receiver, and even quarterback positions are still in need.

Spotrac estimates the Raiders’ remaining cap space to be somewhat more than $20 million. This excludes the contracts given to Butler and Mattison. All things considered, Las Vegas has an operating room.
