Michigan’s Allen Park CB Carlton Davis III was acquired by the Detroit Lions today through a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in return for a third-round draft pick in 2024. As part of the deal, the Lions also acquired a sixth-round draft selection in 2024 and a sixth-round selection in 2025. No other trade terms were revealed.

After playing his first six years of his career in Tampa Bay, Davis now plays for the Lions. He recorded 265 solo tackles, 73 pass defences, 12 tackles for loss, nine interceptions, four fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and one quarterback hit in 76 career games (75 starts).

After being selected by the Buccaneers in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Auburn, he made his NFL debut with them.

• All eight of the primary Game Day Satisfaction category scores were among the NFL’s top 10.
