In the first official practice of the 2024 Formula 1 season, Max Verstappen and his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase (GP) have gone back to their radio banter. After doing his initial fast lap, Verstappen recorded purple times in sectors one and two. On the radio, he said, “Everything is ****, like miles off,” after that.

Verstappen moved to the top of the timesheets at that point (during the first fifteen minutes of FP1). The Dutchman said, “Everything is ****, like miles off,” on the radio. GP answered coolly.

After that, Verstappen stopped in the pits to make a quick tweak to his front wing before returning to the racetrack. Then he offered his critique once more.

Following the conclusion of the inquiry into alleged “inappropriate behavior against the Red Bull boss,” Christian Horner has spoken his opinions.

Horner is now free to lead the Austrian team into the 2024 Formula One season, subject to any appeals, according to Red Bull, which expressed their “confidence that the investigation has been fair, rigorous, and impartial.”

Max Verstappen wasn’t happy with his practice day on Thursday, but Daniel Ricciardo, who is now a member of the RB squad that has undergone a name change, had a decent day.

In Formula One’s first practice session of the 2017 season in Bahrain, the Australian was the unexpected leader of the time sheet. Lando Norris lost to him by a mere 0.032 seconds, and Oscar Piastri finished third in the other McLaren.

After a one-hour practice session, Verstappen expressed his dissatisfaction with the way his Red Bull was handled. George Russell came in eighth and Lewis Hamilton finished ninth for Mercedes.
