NEW DELHI: The Nashville Predators are getting ready for a matchup against the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The Predators won convincingly, 5-2, against the St. Louis Blues to start a five-game western road trip.
It will be the second game of a back-to-back set for the Golden Knights, who ended a two-game losing streak on Monday afternoon with a 4-0 victory against the San Jose Sharks.

The Predators had some instability prior to the trip, but they were able to relax for two days following their crucial victory over the Blues. It was reported that after the Predators’ game against the Blues, players asked to go to a U2 concert in Las Vegas. But general manager Barry Trotz called off the preparations, believing the squad had underperformed, particularly following a humiliating 9-2 loss to the Dallas Stars.
