ALLEN PARK — Jared Goff went to Jared after the season because he adores his offensive line.

Goff partnered with Jared, the jeweller, in an overly sensible move to give the highly regarded Detroit Lions offensive line “Breitling Super Chronomat” timepieces, which are estimated to be worth $11,500.

The words on the box say, “Every moment of this year was timeless.” “Thank you for making this season historic and returning gridiron glory to Detroit.” Appreciate Jared’s gift to you. From your own Jared.

View the complete post from Goff, who wears the timepieces and even raises the company’s well-known tagline, “I went to Jared,” to the sky.

According to WWD via Yahoo Sports, the collaboration was established at the Super Bowl celebrations in Las Vegas. The jeweler’s president, Claudia Cividino, told the source that they were interested in Goff and the scorching Lions because of the “We went to Jared” signs that were seen all over Ford Field during the season.
When the two got together in Las Vegas, Cividino gave Goff 11 watches—10 for his offensive line and one for himself.

This one was assisted somewhat by Goff. It’s noteworthy, though, that the quarterback for the Lions is not above showering his offensive linemen with extravagant gifts following a challenging season. He bought a tonne of gifts last season, including pizza ovens, fancy bags, four-wheelers, and more, and he let the linemen choose their favourites in order of seniority.

For what it’s worth, he has already won over the offensive linemen this season with gifts. Goff agreed when asked whether he needed to send the big guys in the trenches anything extra following their extended run ahead of the NFC championship game.

“Their presents? Christmas brought them their gifts, according to Goff. Yes, you complete it prior to the season’s extension. But I’ll see to it that those folks are well taken care of.

“No, I might have to (get them an additional item).” That’s a wise decision. Sure, I’ll have to give that some thought.

The offensive line in Detroit is also not your typical bunch.

There were many reasons why the Lions finished in the top five offensively for the second straight season, but perhaps none more important than that group in the trenches.

For the first time in his career, Penei Sewell, 23, was selected to the first team of the All-Pro team. And according to Pro Football Focus, Frank Ragnow is the best-graded centre for the whole of the regular season and the postseason. According to ESPN, Taylor Decker’s pass-block victory rate measure placed him among the top 10. Furthermore, Graham Glasgow, who began at three different locations according to PFF, was listed among the top ten guards.
