Rob Gronkowski Tells Patriots ‘For Sure’ About Their Draft Pick
Rob Gronkowski wants the New England Patriots to select Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the NFL Draft instead of a quarterback if they choose not to select one.

Regarding the 2018 NFL Draft, what should the New England Patriots do with the third overall pick?

It would make sense for the Patriots to give their next franchise quarterback priority after the quarterback carousel they experienced in the previous campaign. After all, it was Kendrick Bourne, the current receiver for New England, who made the proposal recently.

But if the Patriots decide to change course because the best quarterbacks aren’t available, former tight end Rob Gronkowski offered a replacement quarterback.

“On this pick, they are unable to outdo their coverage. This is, after all, their top draft choice in a long time. stated Gronkowski. However, I believe that Drake Maye or Caleb Williams have already been eliminated from consideration if they decide not to select a quarterback. I believe Marvin Harrison Jr. is a lock to start at wide receiver and a surefire pick who won’t be a bust.”
Gronk’s recommendation of Harrison Jr. would undoubtedly make a lot of sense for a Patriots offence that was lacking in playmakers in addition to having a subpar quarterback. There doesn’t seem to have been a reliable No. 1 wide receiver for the Patriots since Tom Brady was starting under centre.

At 6-foot-4, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame Marvin Harrison Sr. certainly brings that freakish size to feature in an NFL offense as the prototypical X receiver.

Harrison demonstrated in his final two seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes that he is among this generation’s top receiver prospects with 2,474 yards and 28 touchdowns on 144 receptions in 25 games.
