Despite a disappointing 7-6 season, several Miami Hurricanes players stood out among their ACC peers in 2023.
The X account CFB Home revealed top five lists for the ACC in offensive, defensive, and special teams stats. 
True freshman standout defensive lineman Rueben Bain had a massive impact on opposing quarterbacks. He finished tied for 5th in the conference with his 7.5 sacks.
Xavier Restrepo finished second in the ACC in both receiving yards (1,092) and total receptions (85.) Restrepo is also staying in Miami for the upcoming season. Jacolby George, also returning to Miami, was right behind Restrepo in receiving yards with 864. 
Former starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke finished best in the conference in completion percentage at 65.8 percent. Van Dyke has transferred to Wisconsin for his final season.
Brashard Smith led the ACC in kick return yards with 579. He has since transferred to SMU.
First year punter Dylan Joyce had an excellent season. He ranked fourth in the ACC with 43.8 yards per punt.
