Jack Lange, a four-star offensive tackle at Eureka (Mo.) High School, is among the top players in the class of 2025 at his position. By the time next year rolls around, the list of 12 offensive tackles who are currently ranked ahead of him may be reduced to as few as you can count on one hand. Perhaps even that is too many. The 6-8, 275-pound player reminds me of Joe Alt, especially considering how much he has grown during his recruitment.
Lange, ranked No. 115 nationally overall, is a very good prospect. There have already been offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, and Michigan State. Eventually, a lot more people will join the fray as well.
In 2024, Notre Dame achieved a Top 10 ranking. The Fighting Irish will benefit from the signing of the 23 players as they aim to compete for a national championship and make it to the College Football Playoff in 2024.
This is our sources’ position-by-position analysis from within the Gug.
CJ Carr, the quarterback for Notre Dame: “He’s obviously very instinctive.” He has extraordinary processing speed and decision-making skills. He’s demonstrated that in a couple bowl sessions already. He’s extremely, really outstanding. Because of his processing skills, things come to him easily by nature. He’s got all the throws down. He’s among the nation’s greatest throwers mechanically. He is a quarterback who is far more dynamic than most people realise because of his surprising speed. He has great leg strength. Not only can he move quickly through the pocket and escape, but he can also make accurate throws on time. It’s not even about running the football. His contact. His leadership. It’s amazing how much there is to adore, man.
Running back Aneyas Williams of Notre Dame: “The one thing we really liked about Aneyas was that he came to camp and was with Jordan Marshall and Darrion Dupree.” He completely destroyed them. He was unique. He was a child of 4.48 to 4.52. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield is what made him so good at camp and it consistently comes through on his film. He’s got the slot to play. He is incredibly adaptable. Though we are aware that he is a running back, we also find him to be incredibly adaptable. He has a variety of skills.
We’re thrilled that he can do more with the football than merely run it. He seems like the ideal third down back to me. If he winds up becoming the third down back the next season, I wouldn’t be astonished. Gi’Bran Payne will most likely challenge him for that position. His strength, power balance, and capacity to maintain a low profile set him apart.
Kedren Young, a rushing back for Notre Dame: “I believe Kedren might be the best back in the nation overall.” His strength while rushing the ball, his ability to spot a gap or lane in the middle of mayhem, and his distinct style of running the ball He runs smoother than Audric does, but it’s still very much like Audric. He has a different blocking technique. He is a man who, in my opinion, will lead the Irish in touchdowns scored the next season. He’s arguably the class’s most underappreciated recruit. That must not be true anymore given the rankings.
anyway, it was once. About his balance, his tendency to run low to the earth, and his running style, you might say very much the same things. He is a supplier of energy. We’re quite surprised he’s coming to tell you the truth at all. We had assumed that A&M would be able to acquire him, but the young man truly loves Notre Dame, which is why he made the decision to attend, and we are really appreciative that he did.
