As the Allen Police Department confirmed that they have opened a criminal investigation into the Dallas Cowboys legend, Michael Irvin, it appears that he has been accused of some form of misbehaviour. Irvin’s attorney has called the whole affair “much ado about nothing.”
The Hall of Famer’s investigation is “classified,” according to an Allen Police Department spokesman, and “we aren’t prepared to release any classification regarding Mr. Irvin.”
Irvin’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, told Pro Football Talk in a statement that his client “vehemently denies” the accusation and has done nothing “wrong or inappropriate.”
One of the best Dallas Cowboys ever, Irvin, 58, recently reached a settlement in a lawsuit he filed for $100 million after an Arizona hotel employee claimed he had behaved improperly during Super Bowl Week.
