Orlando, Florida — You can provide a compelling case after three days of preparation for the Under Armour All-America Game. Eugene Brooks of Chatsworth, California, Sierra Canyon, has shown to be the greatest offensive lineman this week. Since his freshman year, Brooks has been a player we’ve been following, and he has always dominated one-on-one situations.

Whether it was a major national 5v5 event, National Preps Camp, or UA Next Combine, it made no difference. Brooks simply never loses rebounds.

That has once again been the case this week as Brooks is not just winning but dominating. Several times he’s stuffing an opposing defensive lineman at the line of scrimmage and not letting him anywhere near the bag.

We’ve talked a lot about Brooks’ physical transformation over the last few years. He dropped more than 60 pounds since his sophomore year and is now down to a solid 325 pounds.

He’s moving so much better, especially laterally while maintaining his strength and power. He has played left tackle at the high school level but the Oklahoma signee said the plan is for him to move to guard in college.

They want me to slide me inside,” Brooks told us during UA check-in earlier in the week. “I’m totally fine with that, I’ve played guard before and that’s where I’m playing this week.

“They didn’t specify if they like me at right or left and it doesn’t matter, I just want to play. I’m really excited for this opportunity and my goal is to come in and win a starting job.”They want me to slide inside, and that’s exactly what I’m doing this week. I’m excited about this opportunity and my goal is to come in and win a starting job. They didn’t specify if they liked me at right or left, but that doesn’t matter; I just want to play. Brooks said as much to us during the UA check-in earlier in the week.
