Although there is a lot of quarterback talent available in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders, who are scheduled to choose at pick No. 11, may choose to consider veteran options. This is according to Tankathon. The most fascinating veteran option that might be accessible is Justin Fields, the quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

Justin Fields just completed his Ohio State degree, and the Bears say he wasn't the only one who learned something

Fields has shown glimpses of franchise quarterback potential over the past two seasons, but the Bears may decide to select a rookie quarterback with the No. 1 pick due to his 10-27 career starting record. In that scenario, Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay feels the Raiders should trade their 2024 third-round selection to Chicago in order to get the quarterback.

In a column published on January 2, Kay stated, “The Chicago Bears would be an ideal candidate to do business with.” “The Bears are faced with the difficult decision of either keeping their current starting quarterback, Justin Fields, or trading him and moving forward with a prospect they can choose with the first overall pick. Should Chicago choose the latter course of action, the Raiders would be well to take advantage of Fields’ availability.A third-round pick would be a very small risk for the Raiders to take on a player who could be the quarterback of the future.

Justin Fields is still only 24 and has spent most of his career playing on a bad roster. The Bears have come alive in recent weeks and have won four of their last five. For the first time in Fields’ career, the team has some momentum.

This should only help Fields’ trade value should the Bears decide to move on. However, a third-round pick may be enough to get a deal done, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler and Courtney Cronin.
