The Cincinnati Bengals have cleared cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt to practice by designating him for return from injured reserve. The team also signed defensive tackle Domenique Davis to the practice squad.

Taylor-Britt, a second-year player, has been on IR since December 4th with an ankle injury. Today starts a 21-day period during which he may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. He is eligible to be activated to the roster at any time during that period.

Davis, a first-year player out of North Carolina at Pembroke, spent the first 14 games of this season on the Bengals’ practice squad. He was signed to the active roster for Week 16, then waived on Monday.

One more note: The Las Vegas Raiders have signed tight end Zach Gentry off the Bengals’ practice squad, per Tom Pelissero.

A fifth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2019 NFL Draft, Gentry has played In 40 career games with 26 starts, catching 39 passes for 303 yards.

Gentry signed with the Bengals practice squad in September and has not appeared in a game, as the Bengals have relied on Tanner Hudson, Mitchell Wilcox, Irv Smith Jr., and Drew Sample to carry the workload at tight end.
