Penrith Panthers and NSW Blues playmaker Jarome Luai has shown off the man cave at his $1.5million home as tensions rise at the club over his reported plan to join Wests Tigers on a massive contract.

Luai skipped Penrith training on Monday as it was reported that the Panthers have granted him time off after he reportedly signed with their rivals.

It came after he was caught on video over the weekend as he told teammates of his plan to take up a huge deal away from his boyhood club.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old has recently had the man cave in his $1.55million house in Sydney’s South Penrith area updated with some incredible boys’ toys.

In a video posted to Instagram, Luai revealed the moment that Sydney-based man cave enthusiasts ‘A Man And His Cave’ took him through the new fit-out.

The team installed a Jack Daniel’s pool table, a Mortal Kombat arcade video game machine, luxury massage chair, kegerator, a new lounge and a professional-standard dart board.

The star five-eighth said his favourite items were the arcade machine and the keg.

‘I can’t wait to have the boys over,’ said Luai.

When asked which footy players would also enjoy having their man caves fitted out, Luai nominated his teammate Nathan Cleary, Parramatta’s Junior Paulo and Broncos prop Payne Haas.

Luai and his partner Bailey Paris Toleafoa purchased the five-bedroom, two-storey home earlier this year.

The spacious property has several formal and informal living spaces, suitable for a gym or library.

The home also has a grand staircase while the master bedroom features a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.
