time in meetings assisting his defence and coaching his replacement Jake Browning after the injury that terminated his season. However, this week he officially went above and beyond.

Burrow was seen sporting a headset during the hotly contested Week 15 game against the Minesota Vikings. Prior to the game on Saturday, he reportedly made a joke in a team group chat about not knowing how welcome the coaching staff thought he was on the communications line. Head Coach Zac Taylor contested the franchise player’s remarks during the news conference following the game.

It is rarely seen for a player to be trusted with a headset on the sideline but Burrow has demonstrated that he is no typical player.  Burrow has essentially become an additional quarterback coach as his mentoring has clearly helped Browning excel in his role.
