The Chargers are tied for third place in the NFL with 41 sacks so far this season. But only one player, Khalil Mack, has contributed 37% of the total. Mack leads the league in sacks and has the ability to seriously hurt Russell Wilson on Sunday.
Mack will have to be contained by the offensive tackle tandem of Mike My cGlincheand Garett Bolles of the Broncos. It will be easier to protect the quarterback if Joey Bosa is not on the other side
Bolles and the rest of the team need to constantly monitor Mack because he can be a streaky player. He probably won’t have a big sack day if they are able to accomplish that.
The rest of Los Angeles’ defense isn’t all that formidable against the pass rush after Mack. The Broncos should be able to contain the others if they can handle business against Mack. Wilson will be able to exploit the Chargers’ pathetic passing defense with that formula.
