NASHVILLE: The Titans continued their practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park on Thursday in order to get ready for their game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

-Jefery Simmons, the defensive tackle for the Titans, is upset that he won’t be playing on Monday night.

Due to a knee injury sustained against the Colts, coach Mike Vrabel stated earlier this week that he anticipates Simmons missing a few weeks of play.
In the locker room on Thursday, Simmons stated, “Especially being on Monday night, that’s a big game, because it’s the next game, and this is a great team.” “Those guys are track stars with a ton of skill. I long to be outside. I adore watching football games. I hate injuries, but they did occur. It is going to change.”
Before the game, according to Simmons, he will watch film with his teammates and offer advice.
“This week, Simmons remarked, “I was just talking about some of their guards, saying this is what I see.” “That’s the biggest thing, just (trying ) to help with my leadership off the field, and (finding ways) to contribute.”
After suffering the injury, Simmons left the game and came back for a short while before leaving again.
When talking about the injury, Simmons stated that he was fallen on and that “it happened.” It felt a little loose, Simmons said, so he told the trainers, “and they made a good decision to pull me out of the game.”
Simmons admitted, “I was still kind of pissed off.” “But at the end of the day they care about our safety, and they made the best decision for myself and the team.”
Simmons has not decided if he will travel with the team to the game on Monday night. He will discuss that choice with Vrabel later this week.
“Watching it on the TV will be for sure different (if that’s the case),” Simmons stated. “But injuries do occur; that’s just part of the game. It’s awful. It would be my preference to be on that field. However, things do happen in this game.
