Former Bengals backup quarterback turned guru Jordan Palmer has established a solid reputation for himself and his consulting business, QB Summit. Tuesday morning, you could find him in front of his office’s large screen in Orange County, California.
Palmer had been going over Bengals quarterback Jake Browning’s slice-and-dice 32 of 37 jobs from Monday night in Jacksonville with his biomechanics expert Mike White (not the villain of the Bengals). Palmer was already aware of Browning’s location. They agreed after he spoke with Ryan Tollner, Browning’s agent.
They ventured that he was already glancing at the Colts. Another AFC Wild Wild Card Game (1 p.m. on Cincinnati’s Channel 12) at Paycor Stadium is this Sunday’s opponent.
“The best part about it is he’s probably already on to next week,” Palmer stated. “He started worrying about next week as soon as the plane touched down in Cincinnati. He won’t linger and take pleasure in his accomplishment from last night.”
The tale of Browning, the prince of tenacity, is a compelling one.
How he finally made the roster this year, in his fifth season in the league on his second team. took a snap in a game at last. began last week at last. I finally triumphed this week. How he was just a short car ride away from taking over as head coach for the Vikings vs. Bengals game that weekend. How every offseason, he improved something in his game.It was during this past offseason that he first met Palmer. Joe Burrow had worked with Palmer on his lower
body, and Browning thought his mechanics could use some fine tuning, so that’s how he learned about him. It was a match because Browning is acquainted with Sam Darnold and is aware of his previous work with Palmer. Palmer is among the men who supported Browning during the arduous journey.
