After a brief Thanksgiving break, Kevin and I met again to talk about the Cincinnati Bengals and their current situation as the 2023 NFL season nears its conclusion. The Bengals will now play without their franchise quarter

back for the remainder of the campaign.

We talked about what fans should expect from the Bengals going forward and what we’d like to see the team accomplish. We both agree that more playing time is necessary for players like Chase Brown, DJ Turner, and Charlie Jones if we want to see some of the younger guys develop more.

We also discussed the unusual predicament the Bengals are in. They have the chance to play young players who wouldn’t normally be playing while the team pushes for the postseason, which makes up for the fact that they will probably be the underdogs in every game and that they won’t make the playoffs.

All things considered, they will be ahead of some of their opponents in 2024 because some of their rookies will have played more games than they otherwise would have.

Enjoy, and don’t forget to visit the Orange and Black Insider for a wealth of fantastic daily Bengals content, right here.
