A Reflective Travis Kelce Opens Up About Moment That Changed His Perspective Jason hosted the singer as a guest on their podcast. MGK and Kelce are both native of Cleveland, Ohio.

MGK started a facetime call to New Heights, saying, “I know you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander if I did not insert this question personally.”

He went on, “I will give you $500,000 in cash when you get here, just for shopping or anything else you want to do. If you could just come home and wear these colors right here, I would match that amount as a donation to both of our high schools, Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights, and I would also offer daily coffee and breakfast delivery from my restaurant. Trav, come on home! Return home, don these hues, and take over the city.

Jason, who plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, and Travis both burst out laughing. Travis shot back, saying, “You know that was the original dream, dawg, You know that was the dream!”

“I’m not going to lie, things are pretty good in Kansas City,” Travis went on. He continued by saying he would think about it if Jason thought about it as well. MGK responded, “Except y’all have to split the $500k.”

The tight end from Kansas City has been in the news lately due to his romance with pop singer Taylor Swift.

Kelce disclosed last week how he first met the singer of “Lover.” When he showed up at a Swift “Era” tour stop without giving the singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, he initially caught her eye.

In other parts of the interview, Kelce talked about how they first became acquainted, including her first trip to a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in September. The athlete called this a “ballsy move” and said it caused his jersey sales to increase by 400%.

In other news, Kelce’s old tweets were recently turned into music by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter of the Roots and Jimmy Fallon.

Following his high-profile relationship with the pop star, Kelce’s old tweets from roughly 2008 to 2018 have gone viral recently. Fallon and Black Thought decided to make music out of the trending tweets as part of a Tonight Show segment.

During the bit, titled ‘The Ballad of Travis Kelce’, Black Thought provided a summary of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s X/Twitter activity while Fallon narrated the tweets.
