In his first practice back since hurting his hamstring in preseason a month ago, Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was listed as limited on Thursday. Nevertheless, he cautiously states he feels 100% and that Monday night’s (8:15; Cincinnati’s Channel 9 and ESPN) game in Jacksonville is the plan.
No. 1 cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt is also limited but showing encouraging signs after missing last Sunday’s game due to a quad injury.
“I feel like I’m there, but I definitely don’t want to push myself too soon where I go out there and have a setback,” Higgins said following his practice. “Even though I feel like I’m at my best, I’m still taking my time. All I’m doing is attempting to resume my normal routine.
Higgins stated that during the Wednesday practice prior to the Houston game on November 12, he hurt his hamstring while running a deep ball. Quarterback Joe Burrow had the second-best passer rating in the NFL at that point, and the Bengals had won four games in a row.
As of right now, they have lost three in a row, and Burrow (throwing wrist) is out for the season. Jake Browning is the quarterback.
Jake is acting confidently while playing. Higgins, anticipating his first reception with Browning, remarked, “You can see the confidence he’s been building since he came in for Joe in the Ravens game.” The way he’s leading the offense doesn’t seem all that different from Joe. I’m excited to catch balls off of him.”

We have an excellent receiver room, and I don’t want to detract from that. Andrei’s (Iosivas) playing, in my opinion, kept getting better. Trenton Irwin has demonstrated his ability. Nonetheless, Tee offers something special because of his size, speed, and level of experience. Having him and Ja’Marr (Chase) outside is always pleasant.”
