Tee Higgins, a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, has been out of the lineup for the team’s last three games because of a hamstring injury he sustained during practice on November 8. “I thought it could have been a little strain or something like that,” Higgins said, adding he had no restrictions during practice. “But obviously, [we] went

Higgins and the Bengals couldn’t come to an agreement on an extension after the team re-signed linebacker Logan Wilson and quarterback Joe Burrow in the offseason. The Clemson product isn’t letting his contract status determine when he plays again, even though his future is uncertain.
“My health is way more important than any other [thing], you know what I’m saying?” stated Higgins. “My thing was I want to get healthy so I can be 100 percent to go out there and play at 100 percent to help my team come out with a W.”
The 5-6 Bengals are currently on a three-game losing streak and are bottom of the AFC North. Now that Burrow is out for the season, Jake Browning takes over at quarterback, and he’s happy to have an offensive weapon back.
According to Browning, Tee is among the NFL’s best receivers. It’s difficult to adequately express how crucial he is to this offense. Tee simply adds something special to the table because of his size, speed, and experience. Having him and Ja’Marr [Chase] outside is always pleasant.
