In Tuesday’s 131-124 victory over the Miami Heat, Andre Jackson Jr. only saw three minutes of action off the bench. Even though he only managed six points from two threes, there’s no disputing that his two threes came at a critical juncture for the Bucks.

Jackson discussed his thoughts on the victory with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Lori Nickel following the win. The rookie revealed why he and his teammates thought Tuesday’s victory was a turning point for the team:
“Considering that it was the NBA In-Season Tournament and we hadn’t won a game in Miami in a long time, just how big of a win that was for us,” he remarked. “I didn’t play on the team for those. I’m in my first year. After hearing that from other guys, who said that it was a huge victory that we had defeated them on their home court in Miami. That was something I was undoubtedly hearing.
h he is not a household name, the former 22-year-old is rapidly winning over Bucks supporters worldwide.
In case you were wondering, the Bucks haven’t triumphed in South Beach since May 27, 2021. This occurred in Game 4 of the playoffs’ first round, as Milwaukee easily defeated the Heat to move on to the East Semifinals.
The Heat have exacted their retribution ever since. In addition to beating the Bucks twice in a row during the regular season, Miami also successfully defended its home court against them in the playoffs, winning a 4-1 series against the Milwaukee team that was awarded the top seed.
