It seems like the Cincinnati Bengals are just not having a good season.

Though most people thought the Bengals would be serious Super Bowl contenders going into this season, they witnessed quarterback Joe Burrow tear his calf during training camp. As a result, he played horribly to begin the season, and the Bengals, coincidentally, lost three of their first four games.

After suffering a wrist injury last Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens, Burrow was ruled out for the remainder of the season. They went on to win their next four games and were beginning to appear like their old selves again.

Star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase posted a message of defiance ahead of Cincinnati’s Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Steelers Depot.

Browning completed eight of 14 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in the 34-20 loss to Lamar Jackson and company last week after Burrow was injured.

The Bengals are in contention for a postseason berth thanks to their 5-5 record, but their remaining schedule is extremely difficult, with games against the Steelers (again, this time in Western Pennsylvania) as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns.
