The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are getting ready for another exciting Thanksgiving game. The Lions (8-2) are vying for the top seed in the NFC in addition to attempting to win their first-ever NFC North division championship.

It turns out that in Week 12, the Lions most likely won’t have a major offensive weapon.Jackson’s chances of playing on Thanksgiving are not looking good after it is estimated that he will miss another practice. If he is unable to play, expect the Lions to revert to rookie Colby Sorsdal, who will receive his second straight start at left guard.
Jonah Jackson would have been the only player who missed a complete practice, according to the Lions’ estimation. Jackson was sidelined for Sunday’s victory over the Chicago Bears due to ankle and wrist injuries; rookie Colby Sorsdal took his place.
It will be interesting to see if the availability of a backup guard affects the frequency with which Kenny Clark and company are able to halt the run and apply pressure to Jared Goff. For the Packers to have a chance at an unlikely postseason run, every week is seen as a “must.”
