Families gather to celebrate the things for which they are grateful on Thanksgiving. However, it goes beyond just families. Football fans can also use this time to celebrate the reasons they have for being grateful to their favorite NFL teams. There aren’t as many reasons for gratitude for Green Bay Packers supporters as there once were. With a 4-6 record and a season in transition, supporters of the Packers will need to consider their options carefully. However, there are factors and causes for them to be grateful for and hopeful about. Jayden Reed, a rookie wide receiver, is ranked first on that list.

The Packers were starting a new chapter in their illustrious history with the offseason trade of Aaron Rodgers. It signaled a new beginning for the franchise. Rebuilding, as they would say in the NFL. Fans should have known, or at least knew, that this was inevitable as Rodgers grew older. The Packers needed to let go of their enduring franchise player because good things don’t always last.

It’s been a challenging transition so far. This season, the Packers have experienced more setbacks than victories. In his first full season as a starter, new quarterback Jordan Love has shown some promise. This past weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers was one of those occasions. Love passed for 322 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers defeated the opposition 23–20. However, he has also had moments of difficulty, as evidenced by the Packers’ four-game losing streak.
