Pittsboro, PA Following knee surgery during the team’s bye week, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool is currently regarded as week-to-week for the Miami Dolphins.
After a brief stay with the Chicago Bears, who acquired him via a trade with the Steelers the previous season, Claypool was traded to the Dolphins ahead of the trade deadline. He has played 29 offensive snaps since being acquired, only twice being targeted, and only catching one pass for 15 yards.
Although the duration of Claypool’s absence is currently unknown, the Dolphins will be without him for Week 11.

For a player in the last year of his rookie contract, Claypool has had a difficult season. The 25-year-old has played in six games so far in 2023, but his surgery has left him uncertain for the next few weeks. It’s unclear if he will play this season at all.
