The AFL has confirmed Hawthorn’s 2024 Gather Round fixture, with the Hawks set to take on Collingwood in a blockbuster Sunday afternoon showdown.
The highly anticipated clash has been locked in for Sunday 7 April, 4.40pm local time at Adelaide Oval, with the match to be broadcast LIVE on Fox Footy.
It will be the first meeting between the two rivals since Hawthorn’s stunning Retro Round upset over the eventual premiers in Round 21 earlier this year.
Gather Round 2024 will see all nine AFL matches played within the state, with games scheduled across four days from Thursday 4 April to Sunday 7 April, coinciding with school holidays.
Matches will be held across several venues – with Adelaide Oval the primary base. Entry to every game will be free for all club and AFL members.
