Hugh Freeze’s team and Nick Saban’s team will play at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 2:30 p.m. CT. CBS will broadcast the game.

In an attempt to win every game in the SEC, Alabama will play its final regular season game. This season, the Crimson Tide has already triumphed in all seven of its SEC games. In Week 2, Saban’s team only suffered a loss to Texas.

Prior to the Iron Bowl, Chattanooga will host Alabama, and New Mexico State will visit Auburn to take on the Tiger

“They performed incredibly well,” stated Saban. I believe Kentucky is very large up front. We discussed aiming to be the team with the most physicality. They performed a good job, in my opinion. We ran the ball more effectively in the second half than we did in the first, in my opinion. A portion of that was simply their style of play. However, I was really happy with how we managed the line of scrimmage, particularly in the second half. The pass protection was, in my opinion, a little better overall, and we want to keep getting better in all those areas.

Saban laughed and said, “Her and Terrion are really kind of buddies.” “She sort of texts with him and stuff, I know that.” I have a thing for him. Raising children is analogous to this. She’s the mother who always tries to make them happy, and I’m the guy who’s [sic] always trying to get them to do right. That has been the situation for a very long time.

“Whatever we want to call it, I don’t ever want to see anybody get let go in this business,” Saban declared. “I am aware of how diligent everyone is. I have great admiration for those who put in a lot of effort to try and improve the lives of the guys they coach because I am aware of how challenging it can be to develop a program and get players to consistently compete at a high level.

“All these freshmen want to play like freshmen,” Saban remarked. We’ve also had, well, you can count them on one hand—how many guys have left early for the draft? I’ve had 32 phone calls multiplied by 45, if that’s the correct number of guys—I’m not sure if that’s the right number or not. Thousands, is that correct? I have never once been asked how much a freshman player played. Nevermind. Never once. Everyone is curious about your development.

He said, “I went to the dead-ball snap.” “I believe some of the inaccurate snaps have been clarified. I’m still trying to improve on that, just making sure that the snaps are clean both in practice and during the game, emphasizing how crucial it is to get the ball into Milroe’s hands so he can focus on his strengths.

Nearly four years are almost over, and looking back, it seems crazy. Being a football player at Alabama has been a huge blessing for me both personally and as a player. A great deal of effort has been put into it. It is the greatest gift I have ever received. I owe coach Saban a huge debt of gratitude for seeing potential in a 6-3, 260-pound center from Buford, Georgia, all those years ago. It meant a lot to me to put in the effort and demonstrate to others that anyone can play here and perform at a high level with hard work, having entered the class as the lowest-ranked recruit.

It seems like attention has finally turned its back on Alabama this year. Before first-season realities set in, Deion Sanders’s arrival in Colorado became a beacon of hope and a bastion of freshness, drawing the attention of objective observers with giddiness. (Despite losing 34–31 at home to Arizona, who was on the verge of victory, thanks to a game-winning 24-yard field goal by Tyler Loop on Saturday, the Buffaloes are still 4-6 overall and 1-6 in the Pac-12.) Fans’ attention was drawn to Seattle, where Washington has had an incredible season. (Karen DeBoer, in his second year as coach, achieved a 35-28 victory, a 10-0 record, and a 21-2 record for the Huskies after their 11-0 shutout of No. 18 Utah in the second half on Saturday.)
