A fascinating encounter occurred between a Jets supporter in Las Vegas and Aaron Rodgers prior to New York’s Sunday game against the Raiders.

On Saturday night, the fan shared a photo of themselves with Aaron Rodgers on social media after being taken aback by the NFL icon.

In the Aria hotel in Vegas, he was wearing the injured quarterback’s uniform when a stranger remarked on his jersey selection. At first, he assumed it was just another fan.

“*Someone taps me on the shoulder,* ‘Nice jersey bro,’ Jets by a million tomorrow,” the photo caption said. I’m currently in disbelief. #AchieveFlight

Later, the fan spoke with MLFootball, sharing the entire account of his encounter with the quarterback.

He said, “Nice jersey, man,” as he passed me as he was passing through the Aria entrance/mezzanine while my back was turned away.

‘Yessir, go jets,’ I exclaimed. but assumed it was simply an additional #JETS FAN.’DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO THAT IS?’ cried the guy across the hall, thank God. And my first thought was RODGERS’

‘So I chase him down, and ask him to take a picture, he was so nice.’ I told him: “I can’t wait to see you THIS YEAR and he gave me a real head nod and thank you.” ‘

“Thanks for repping the jersey and supporting,” Aaron stated.

Later on, the fan disclosed that he even dressed as Rodgers for Halloween.

Rodgers was spotted out and about in Las Vegas this weekend before his run-in with the fan. Additionally, he appeared in a photo that Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams uploaded to his Instagram story.

During their eight years of playing together for the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers and Adams developed a close relationship off the field as well.

Reports surfaced shortly after the trade deadline indicating that the Jets made an attempt to acquire Adams in the midst of the Raiders’ turbulent season; however, Las Vegas had no plans to send the six-time Pro Bowler to another team.
