Within hours of Liverpool being linked to AFC Bournemouth star Lloyd Kelly once more, reports claim that AC Milan is close to finalizing a deal to sign him.
Kelly’s contract is set to expire next summer, and transfer interest in the 25-year-old defender is increasing, according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports that the Rossoneri are keen on signing the Cherries defender.

Understand Juventus are also interested and informed on conditions of the deal.

TalkSport earlier today revealed that Milan has now made a significant push to acquire Kelly, despite Liverpool’s admiration for the Cherries center-back.
Romeo claims that Juventus is also considering the defender, and if Liverpool doesn’t move swiftly enough, their own attempt to sign Kelly may soon come to an end.
Liverpool needs to make some investments in the defense this January, and Kelly, the Bournemouth star, could not be a better fit for the Reds considering his age and Premier League experience.
Kelly will undoubtedly become in demand in January, so Liverpool needs to make sure they emerge victorious in the competition to sign the defender.
Given the magnitude of the team, Milan would be an alluring option, but Kelly might find more allure in playing at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool will therefore have a strong chance of signing the 25-year-old in the new year, but they will need to move quickly to secure the defender’s signature.
