With Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler fired, the Las Vegas Raiders face a plethora of obstacles in their future. The Raiders are at the bottom of the AFC West with a losing record. Under interim head coach Antonio Pierce, Las Vegas prevailed in a game on Sunday despite their shortcomings. DEL Recently, Maxx Crosby addressed a rumor about what McDaniels said to Pierce during a team meeting.

Antonio Pierce discussed his 2007 New York Giants team, who upset the unbeaten New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, during the purported team meeting. In the same way that the Giants defeated New England, Pierce believed that the Raiders could compete with any NFL team.

There was a rumor that McDaniels went up to Pierce and told him not to talk about the Patriots in that way ever again. However, Maxx Crosby denied the rumor.

“I’m not sure where [a reporter] heard that or where it originated. It wasn’t like [McDaniels] stood up and said, “AP, you can’t talk about the Patriots.” It’s untrue, Crosby stated, according to The Spun.

Attorneys for both parties did not reply to emails regarding the schedule modification on Monday.

The league requests that the court overturn a state court judge’s rulings from May 2022, permitting Gruden’s lawsuit to move forward and refusing to mandate negotiations outside of the courtroom that Commissioner Roger Goodell might be in charge of.

In an attempt to pressure Gruden into leaving the Raiders in 2021, Gruden claims the league improperly leaked

racist, sexist, and homophobic emails he sent while working as an ESPN broadcaster.

Gruden’s correspondence with former Washington Commanders executive Bruce Allen, spanning from 2011 to 2018, was discovered among the emails the league acquired while looking into the work environment of the Washington team.
