Nov. 2, 2023 – STAMFORD, Conn. On Week 9 of NBC’s Sunday Night Football, Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals (4-3) take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (5-3) in a rematch of the AFC Divisional Playoff game from the previous season. Football Night in America kicks off the coverage at 7 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock, and Universo. Kickoff from Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, occurs at 8 p.m. ET.

Last week, the Bengals defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31–17 to win three straight. After throwing for 283 yards and three touchdowns, Burrow now has 16 career games with three or more touchdown passes, which ties him for the fifth-most in his first four NFL seasons with Peyton Manning and Dak Prescott.

Last Thursday, the Bills defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24–18. Allen ran for 41 yards and a touchdown on the ground in addition to throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns. With 43 career rushing touchdowns, the 2018 first-round pick is now tied for second place among quarterbacks in the NFL all-time list with Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Young, and the only quarterback behind 2015 NFL MVP Cam Newton (75).

With just 22 receptions, Allen’s top target, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, will surpass DeAndre Hopkins (789) as the player with the most catches in league history before turning 30. Diggs, an NFL receiving leader with 64 receptions, turns 30 on November 29. He is a two-time All-Pro.

The Bills have a narrow 17-16 advantage over the Bengals in the all-time series. Also, on Sunday

Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (17-time Emmy Award winner), and Melissa Stark (sideline reporter) will be calling the Bills-Bengals game. Terry McAulay, a three-time Super Bowl referee, is the rules analyst for Sunday Night Football.

Director Drew Esocoff and executive producer Rob Hyland oversee NBC’s Sunday Night Football coverage. For Outstanding Live Sports Series, SNF has won a record 11 Sports Emmys.

Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, three-time Super Bowl victor Devin McCourty, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl victor Rodney Harrison, NFL insider Mike Florio, fantasy sports industry pioneer Matthew Berry, and co-host Jac Collinsworth all appear on Football Night in America, which is hosted by Maria Taylor.

Football Sunday, the most viewed

Every Sunday, Peacock provides exclusive NFL coverage, starting with Matthew Berry’s Fantasy Football Pregame at 11 a.m. ET and ending with Peacock Sunday Night Football Final, the network’s only postgame program.
