When playing the 49ers, Joe Burrow was at the peak of his game. With 28 of 32 passes completed, he gained 283 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. In the end zone, he made a connection with Andrei Iosivas, Tyler Boyd, and Ja’Marr Chase. Reminiscent of his childhood gymnastics days in Louisiana, Chase’s spectacular backflip touchdown celebration in the fourth quarter brought back memories.

The Bengals, the current AFC North division winners, have moved past their difficult beginning. Joe Burrow was sidelined for the first four games of the season due to a calf injury, which caused Cincinnati to struggle severely on offense. The Bengals endured a rough 1-3 start because they struggled to find the end zone.

In Week 8, former Ohio State football players Nick Bosa and Joe Burrow enjoyed a pleasant time together on the field at Levi’s Stadium. After the San Francisco 49ers’ 31-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Bosa told Burrow in a funny way that the bye week had been destroyed.

Now that Joe Burrow and company have rattled off three straight wins, that is no longer the case. Their three previous opponents have been defeated by them by an average of 11 points each game.

Burrow’s outstanding play kept the 49ers under pressure led by Nick Bosa. After starting 5-0, San Francisco has now dropped three straight games. The team’s losing run started in Cleveland following Jake Moody’s disastrous last-second field goal attempt in Week 6.

During their current three-game losing streak, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has passed for three touchdowns and five interceptions. The timing of San Francisco’s bye week could not be more ideal. In Week 10, the 49ers want to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

For two seasons, Joe Burrow and Nick Bosa were teammates in the Ohio State football program. It’s wonderful to witness the two athletes mingling once more on the football field.
