CLEVELAND, Ohio — The injured starting lineup for Ohio State football is getting closer to playing on Saturday against Wisconsin.

At the team hotel in Madison, Ohio, Buckeyes coach Ryan Day verified to media that both receiver

and cornerback Denzel Burke had traveled. Due to injuries, both were unable to play against Penn State last week.

TreVeyon Henderson, the running back, was declared “full go” earlier in the week by Day. After a victory at Notre Dame on September 23, he had not appeared in any of the previous three games.

On October 14, Burke sustained his unidentified injury in the third quarter of a 41-7 victory over Purdue. He had been playing the greatest football of his career up to that point, recording a team-high seven pass breakups.

A week prior to it, in a 37-17 win over Maryland, Egbuka sustained injuries. Later on, fellow receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. described it as an ankle injury that was comparable to one he had experienced this season. Egbuka is tied for second place with three touchdown receptions and ranks third among the Buckeyes in terms of yards (303) and receptions (22). This is despite missing more than two games.
