Jalen Ramsey, an All-Pro cornerback, was unaware that he would be making his Miami Dolphins debut this week until reading numerous headlines on Thursday.
Rmasey went to X to clarify that, prior to seeing the reports, he had no idea why he was receiving so many SMS and calls.
After overcoming a summertime knee injury, Ramsey must be activated off the injured reserve in order to play on Sunday. He has been working out with the group.
If Ramsey participates, it will be his first opportunity to play with his new teammates in three months.
“So this is why I just got a crazy amount of texts. Well, this is news to me,” wrote Ramsey. “Mfs are concerned with what’s right, not with being right.”
The Los Angeles Rams moved him to the Dolphins over the summer in order to strengthen Miami’s secondary, which already had Xavien Howard.
After rupturing his meniscus during training camp, Ramsey was placed on injured reserve on August 31. His recuperation has gone more quickly than anticipated.
Regarding wide receiver Tyreek Hill and running back Raheem Mostert, who are both expected to play on Sunday, the Dolphins received encouraging news elsewhere on Thursday.

Ramsey’s return would be ideal for the Dolphins, who lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road last week, dropping to 5-2 on the year. Howard and Kader Kohou are also hurt for the Dolphins.
