The worst thing that could happen to the side would be to be engulfed in three minutes by Celtic Park. Brendan Rodgers moved quickly to go on the attack on that flank, possibly knowing that this was not the wisest course of action, but the outcome could not be more disastrous. Simeone had to at least maintain the outcome without any further changes as the game was losing badly and they had ten minutes remaining.

Spain’s Terra
Celtic made an attempt to go on the attack. He made some risky plays in this style, but goalie Oblak stopped him; in fact, he even used his head to save Atlético. The home team had more room to play when De Paul was sent off at the 37′ mark, but they were still unable to score the game-winning goal.

When Celtic played Atletico Madrid at Celtic Park in the Champions League this year, they attempted to earn their first point. Palma’s shot from the right side of the penalty area gave Celtic the lead. If this arena had a roof, it would have likely lifted a little, but instead, the clouds scatter as the cheers of the fans become louder.

AS (Madrid)

Atletico Madrid lost the Champions League match. The defense suffered, but the speed and rhythm increased. A great deal. Simeone activates the Bat-Signal, which is a spotlight pointed skyward, to alert Griezmann and Morata of an issue. In 12 games, the two strikers have combined for 17 goals. The Madrid native scored twice against Feyenoord, and the Frenchman was crucial to the team’s 3-2 victory. And after falling behind twice against Celtic, each rallied once more to equal the score.
