Ange Postecoglou is currently raking in the accolades after assisting Tottenham in their transformation this season.

Over the past six months, the Australian has become the talk of the football world, with many considering him to be the greatest thing to happen to north London since sliced bread.
Nonetheless, Roy Hodgson feels that Postecoglou is still being overlooked in some way.

Speaking on the Optus Sport Football Podcast, Hodgson said that some people are undervaluing Postecoglou’s true leadership abilities because he now has more athletic players at Tottenham.

Leadership of Postecoglou underappreciated
This past weekend, Hodgson discussed his opponent.

“Well, without a question, he did an outstanding job. He’s also added leadership qualities, which go unrecognized largely because people want to attribute it to the fact that he now has some really athletic players who can press the offensive harder than they did in the past, according to Hodgson.

“He’s brought it back to the playing field, what needs to be done, how they play the game; he’ll get behind them and back them up, and away from the more aggressive position that a Mourinho or a Conte could have had. I know him a little bit, and his style is something Tottenham has needed as well. He has restored the atmosphere to one that is more team-oriented.

The leader Postecoglou is outstanding.
Postecoglou is without a doubt one of the Premier League’s greatest bosses

He not only keeps his players in check, but when necessary, he will intervene to defend them.

Richarlison himself talked about his difficulties on the field, and he handled the situation brilliantly. But he’s much more than just a strategist.

Postecoglou is an incredibly talented and multifaceted manager, and we adore every aspect of him.
