Another soap star has joined the cast of the popular comedy series “Mum’s The Word” after former EastEnders performer Cheryl Fergison left for personal reasons. This ensures that the program will continue.
The star of “Mum’s The Word” for the duration of its UK tour is Lurie Brett, who is best known for her work on EastEnders and Waterloo Road.

For the duration of the UK tour of “Mum’s The Word,” Lurie Brett, well known for her work on EastEnders and Waterloo Road, will be the lead.
In the uplifting, humorous, and honest production that explores motherhood and the turmoil that life throws at you, Sarita Plowman and Poppy Tierney will join Laurie in the role of Alison.
Brett said: “I am pleased to be’s The Word sharing the comedy of the rollercoaster ride that is Motherhood to parents around the country. I am now studying the lines for the wildly successful touring play.

“It’s been a long few days replacing Cheryl, but we are delighted Laurie has stepped in. She has been a true pro, and we are sure ticket holders will be delighted to see Laurie on stage,” a spokeswoman for the show’s producers, Red Entertainment, said.
This weekend, St Helens will host two big events, but with Birchley Street Car Park closed, visitors will need to find other parking choices.
