Teams throughout the league are attempting to purchase or sell players as the NFL trade deadline of October 31 approaches with only two games remaining in the regular season. What about the Raiders, who are.500 right now?
The Raiders are in the middle, says NFL expert Dianna Russini. Players on their roster are still available despite the fact that they are “trying to win,” therefore they won’t become sellers.
Hunter Renfrow, a former Pro Bowl receiver, is one of those who has seen his offensive role diminish since Josh McDaniels took over as head coach in 2022. Renfrow, who ranks sixth among Raiders in targets, is unquestionably available for trade.
The Raiders aren’t aiming to become sellers, though, as has already indicated. Prior to the deadline, they are still hunting for a pass rusher to take Chandler Jones’ spot in the starting lineup. Frank Clark became a free agent after Jones’ release on September 30, although there have also been rumours that the Pro Bowl pass rusher would return to Kansas City.

Other defensive ends, such as Brian Burns of Carolina or Danielle Hunter of Minnesota, are up for trade, among others. Both players are pending free agents, so the Raiders could need to negotiate a long-term contract in addition to giving up their rights.
Although the Raiders want to win, the results of their next games against Chicago and Detroit might make them think otherwise. If they succeed during the following two weeks, they may also consider increasing their level of aggression in advance of the deadline.
