Swansea City had a difficult start to Michael Duff’s reign before starting a great comeback before the international break.
Swansea City has played 11 games and is now ranked 12th. The fact that they had lost their first seven Championship games, together with a loss to Cardiff City on derby day, put early pressure on Duff.

However, the Swans have shot up the table with a run of four straight victories, and Duff has received a lot of support. The expectation is that they can continue to improve from here and that the opportunity to bolster the ranks will present itself during the January transfer window.

There has been considerable talk about possible transfers at Swansea City since the summer window closed.

A few League One stars have been mentioned in connection with relocations to South Wales. In advance of the January transfer window, Devante Cole, the top player for Duff’s old team Barnsley, has reportedly been mentioned as a target.

The striker, who has nine goals this season in 12 League One appearances, has a contract that expires next summer.

Corey Blackett-Taylor, a third-tier star who is also in good shape, has also attracted admiring looks. With four goals and three assists in just 11 appearances, the Charlton Athletic winger has caught the attention of many Championship teams, including Swansea City.

On the Swans’ acquisition of Jamal Lowe in the summer, new information has also surfaced. According to rumours, Sheffield Wednesday and a summer agreement were imminent.

Last but not least, Nathan Wood was another Swansea City player at the centre of transfer speculation over the summer.

Liam Cullen’s future was the subject of speculation in the summer, and The Sun reported at the end of the month that Blackburn Rovers was considering a winter transfer. The Swansea City academy graduate’s contract expires in 2024, and Rovers have been considering him as an offensive option. However, his recent return to the starting XI may suggest that Duff is keeping him in mind for future plans.
