ARBOUR, Michigan — On a soggy Saturday afternoon at the Big House, the Michigan football team trailed early but rallied to defeat Indiana, 52-7, by scoring 52 straight points.

After a sluggish start, J.J. McCarthy improved and ended 14-for-17 for 222 yards and three throwing touchdowns. Additionally, Blake Corum scored twice on short runs, while the Michigan defence forced four errors. The Wolverines coasted through the whole fourth quarter with their reserves in the game for the third straight Big Ten contest.

After the blowout, Jim Harbaugh met with media to go over the outcome. What the Michigan coach stated in full is as follows:

You understand how I feel. It’s excellent that everyone else shares your perspective. He is one of Michigan’s once-in-a-generation quarterbacks. He keeps getting better as well. He is always focused and plays for his teammates, just as all the other men on our squad do. He most definitely does. He will go above and beyond for any teammate. And it’s flawless. You can’t ask for a better quarterback than that.

4th-and-2, tie ballgame on the two-yard line, some people questioned me. What factors influence that choice? And I already know that No. 9 will hold the ball. Then it may be in No. 2’s hands, Colston’s hands, or Roman’s hands. However, I’m mostly confident that No. 9 will set things right in the end. Just have complete faith that the chances are on our side.

He did an amazing job reacting, as did the entire staff. When I last checked the scoreboard, they had, I believe, 137 yards to our minus eight. We then answer by driving for a touchdown. Tremendous

Due to the large number of participants in this game, there is one more element that really struck me. Every position group and player that was present put on a tonne of excellent performances. And you can see their growth, the plays they’re making, and the subsequent generation of young men emerging. Just now is the proper moment to acknowledge the assistant coaches.

Every single one of them is a fantastic set of coaches. What Mike Elston has accomplished with the defensive line is well known. He was a fantastic instructor. And you observe him moulding newcomers.

The way our linebackers are being taught and coached has improved dramatically this year, according to Chris Partridge. been outstanding

Not just the best receivers, but also the young ones, according to Ron Bellamy. Morgan, Semaj. In high school, he got the chance to grow as a person. And Samaj did a superb job with that play. Michael Moore. Furthermore, he is coaching him [on special teams]. He was a top-notch punt return blocker today, and he will continue to be so. I believe the special teams made a significant impact today. We were competing against one of the top returners in the nation, and the coverage units were outstanding. We were certain we would receive a significant punt return. That took place. We had fantastic, well-coordinated blocking. The special teams are well-managed by Jay Harbaugh.
