Since joining the Cherries from Elland Road, the former Leeds United midfielder has made only one appearance.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola refused to speculate on when Tyler Adams would return from injury. After joining the Cherries from Leeds United, the ex-Leeds United midfielder made his debut in the Carabao Cup.

After recuperating from a hamstring injury sustained while at Leeds United, the American midfielder made his first game in a red and black shirt in a 2-0 win against Championship club Stoke City. Adams played the remaining 20 minutes of the game but suffered another hamstring injury setback.

He had surgery on the injury while at Leeds, which kept him out of their relegation battle, but he still moved to Bournemouth for £20 million in the summer.

“With Tyler, we don’t expect him anytime soon,” Iraola remarked before his team’s defeat to Everton. “We are asking various specialists to advise us on the best course of action.”

“We haven’t decided yet, but whatever solution we choose, we don’t expect him to be on the pitch anytime soon.” It’s the same hamstring issue that brought him here. “WHe wasn’t feeling well after playing a few minutes against Stoke. He tried it, but he didn’t like what he felt.

“We’ve stopped because it didn’t feel right, so we’ll have to come up with another solution.” We must ensure that we do the correct thing, and we are now assessing everything.

“It’s been difficult for him because he’s been pushing, but we can’t change the situation.” There was probably something wrong, and we need to find another alternative.

“I’m very pleased with Lew’s performances, and Joe performed admirably against Stoke.” They are doing an excellent job in that capacity.”
