More injuries are a concern for Michael Duff for today’s game against Plymouth Argyle. ‘Doubtful’ is how doctors describe Ben Cabango, who limped off during Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory over Norwich City. As the injury list grows, Duff might be without yet another central defender.

Duff’s off-field issues are already exacerbated by the absence of left-sided defender Kristian Pedersen and Nathan Wood until the new year. Jerry Yates played in the Norwich game, but he is still struggling with his two dead legs from the previous weekend. He is anticipated to play, though. Steven Schumacher, the manager of Plymouth, respects Duff greatly. In his news conference, he stated: “I truly like Michael. I get along great with him. He’s achieved some decent success. He accomplished a fantastic job at Cheltenham before moving to Barnsley, where he managed to have them playing the way he wanted them to in just one season. They had such bad luck in the play-off championship. I went to witness that game live, and despite having only eleven players left, they played brilliantly the entire time. The 1,700 traveling Jacks who will crowd the away end have heightened expectations because of the Swans’ recent improvement in performance. Now that Plymouth Argyle has revealed the contest is a
