Nottingham Forest’s latest news comes as Steve Cooper’s Reds drew 1-1 with the Bees at the City Ground.
After a 1-1 draw with Brentford, Nottingham Forest will be concerned about the fitness of midfielder Nicolas Dominguez.
The Argentine earned the Reds a point with his debut goal for the club in the 65th minute at the City Ground. He was subsequently forced to leave with what seemed to be a groyne injury with 10 minutes remaining after injured himself after stretching to make a challenge.
Against the Bees, head coach Steve Cooper was missing defenders Ola Aina and Nuno Tavares, as well as midfielder Ryan Yates. Meanwhile, Brazilians Danilo and Felipe remain out with hamstring and knee injuries, respectively.

Due to the unavailability of full-backs Aina and Tavares, Moussa Niakhate filled in at left-back for the game on Sunday, with summer addition Murillo making his debut alongside Willy Boly in the centre of a back four. However, in the second half, Niakhate was sent off, allowing Harry Toffolo to come off the bench and set up Dominguez for the equaliser.
“Ola and Nuno were both out with muscle injuries,” Cooper stated. “We felt we needed two left-footers on the back line’s left side.” Moussa had previously played left-back, and this was an opportunity to give Murillo a chance.
“We just felt like we needed left-footers there because of certain passes in the game.”
“Yatesy is currently out with a hamstring injury.” He’s been lugging it around a little bit. It hurt him last week at Manchester City and this week overall.”
Forest will play one more game before the next international break. Next Saturday, they go to Crystal Palace.
