Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City, acknowledges that making the switch to a more offensive midfield position has not been easy.
The 26-year-old helped Jamie Vardy score his second goal of the contest as Leicester defeated Blackburn 4-1 to increase their lead atop the Championship.

Ndidi told Sky Sports, “It was a difficult game to start with. “We maintained our composure and we prevailed; coming here, it’s challenging to win, but we did.”

Ndidi has excelled thus far this season in his new position as the number 8, but the midfielder acknowledges it hasn’t come naturally to him. “Of course, it’s just a process; I’m still getting used to the role, but I’ll just keep playing and going,” he stated.

It’s challenging transitioning from a different role; all I want is to be with my team. It’s been great with my teammates’ and the gaffer’s assistance.
With a beautiful cross, Ndidi set up Vardy for the game’s second goal. The midfielder credited his captain with making the assist appear better than it actually was.

I saw his run and I just knew he was going to be there, but he made it seem even better,” Ndidi added. I am aware of his ability; he will either hit it once or take a touch, as he did with the previous one.
